A stroll on Orchard Road

At the beginning of my journey one of my goals was to learn/discover something new every day. So this evening I went out and took a walk. And I discovered Orchard Road.

It’s the iconic shopping street in Singapore; if you’ve been to London the equivalent would be Oxford Street and in Paris it’s Champs Elysee. I don’t know if it was the excitement that I live a few steps away from it, the magic of twinkling Christmas decorations or the ad-hoc street shows, but I liked this one better.

A truck of cash! or a credit card with no limit on it. This is what you need if you truly want to enjoy what Orchard Road has to offer. Designer clothes, department stores and malls that seem to never end invite you in with their refreshing air conditioning and wonderful things displayed in the windows. And if you need to take a break from a shopping marathon, you have plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from.

I simply loved it and I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet. I have way too many options now…

topic. You understand so much its almost tough to argue with you
(not that I personally will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a subject which has been discussed for many years.
    Excellent stuff, just great!
